Stool Nightstand
This easy DIY, from "Like a Saturday", will make your room colorful and unique. The barstool can hold items such as books and boxes on its bottom shelves. Also a bedside lamp can be placed on this stool, creating a perfect nightstand.

Materials
-
Sanding Block
-
*Spray Paint*-3 cans
-
Wooden barstool
-
Twine/ Wool
For spray paint projects, I would suggest using a can that includes both Paint and Primer so that you get a nice finish.
*Spray Paint*
Process
Step 1
Sand the wooden stool to get rid of shiny layer. This allows the paint to stick. *Wear mask and goggles to avoid inhaling dust.*
Step 2
Clean the stool to get rid of dirt. This prevents stray particles to stick on the surface while painting.
Step 3
Turn the stool upside down on newspaper. Shake can for 1 minute. Spray once on the paper and start painting.
*Wear mask and goggles to avoid inhaling dust.*
Step 4
Spray from a 8-10 inch distance and go in one direction to avoid odd layering.
Step 5
Add at least 2 coats and leave to dry a whole night.
